Our small group booked a week long cooking excursion at Villa Pane. My accomodations were perfect for someone with a “knee situation”....Thank you! Classes were not only informative but entertaining as well! Love Anna Maria, Gianluigi as well as all of the staff! Perfect amount of free time as well. Love Sorrento and Villa Pane

il 04/giu/2010We had the best holiday here at the villa pane Gianluigi and Anne Marie make you most welcome in the villa The evening dinner and breakfast was excellent and the cooking school a must do day . Very relaxing holiday and live how a tipi cal italian family do
il 09/lug/2018Villa pane is a beautiful location for a holiday in sorrento, we were made do feel extremely welcome even by the lovely rocky (the dog)
il 05/giu/20071I travel quite a lot and I can honestly say that my experience at Villa Pane was one of the most pleasurable vacations I have ever taken. The warmth, enthusiasm and graciousness helped to make this trip memorable. I made your beef ravioli and tiramisu for my family on Christmas eve, and they loved it. If you ever get to Cincinnati let me know, Coleen and I can be your guides. Thank you for sharing your home with all of us. Wishing you and your families the best.
da cincinnati il 26/mar/2018We spent 10 days at Villa Pane in September. The atmosphere is very friendly. After a long, intense day (excursion to the Vesuv, Pompei, Capri and Ischia) it is the right place just to relax. To enjoy the dinner on the terrace with a nice view on Sorrento. Anne-Marie cooks like italian grand-mothers do. The three course menu (at an extremely interesting price) was delicious, good house wine and at the end the home made Limoncello (we have bought 3 bottles) was the highlight after a busy day. You have to eat at Anne-Maria to taste the difference. We had a very nice, big room as well as bathroom. The Villa Pane is located above Sorrento (5 min by car). If someone is looking for peace after a long turbulent day, with a beautiful view of Sorrento and the good Italian cuisine according to grand-mother's recipe, Villa Pane is the right place.
da Zurich il 23/ott/2016We stayed at Villa Pane in July and really enjoyed our stay. In fact, it felt like we\'d struck gold. It is by far one of the most tranquil and beautiful spots in Sorrento. It is very rustic and quiet and so if you are wanting to be in the centre of it all, it\'s probably not the right place for you. Luigi and Anna were so hospitable and went out of their way to make us comfortable. Luigi was fantastic with the shuttle bus service and even gave us a lift to a wedding which we were going to. The only downside is that the service only runs til 11.30 and a taxi up the hill is beyond expensive - it won\'t even go all the way due to the tiny road leading up to the villa. The food was wonderful, breakfast simple but with nice fresh ingredients, some from the farm. The rooms were good and clean. The air con didn\'t really work too well but it isn\'t too hot up on the hill at night. The gardens are swimming pool area were idyllic, surrounded by lemon trees. I would definitely recommend this, especially for couples wanting some quiet and a unique experience.
A presto!
da Lodi il 23/ago/2012Two friends and I booked this trip through Edible Destination and we had the best time. Anna Maria, Gianluigi and the entire Villa Pane staff are fabulous. Had a wonderful time in the cooking classes. Our room was perfect and the view absolutely amazing. This was a trip to remember.
da Oakland il 05/lug/2014We were spending couple of days in Sorrento in the end of June with my husbands family (parents, siblings and couple of young children - 8 adults and 2 kids). We really enjoyed our days in Villa Pane, which is in very peaceful and beautiful place and most of all - the host of the small Relais is so helpful and friendly and a masterchef! Anna Marie (host) and her family run the hotel so it feels like you are at home. When we asked her to prepare us some food for dinner, she made us eight-course meal, which was perfect! We ate among other things caprese, mussels, fish with a hint of peperoncino and at the end very delicious lemon cake. She prepared us courses from those ingredients she had bought in the morning from fishers/market sellers... certainly fresh!) Wine was also amazing (Greco di tufo). We asked about the wine and when we were leaving there were one box of this ideal white wine waiting for us to take with us - Anna Maries son San Luigi managed to get it to us from his friend, who produces this wine (you can't buy from shops). We ate there also next evening, cause we realised you can't get any better food from the town. And it was easy to put to sleep the kids and eat there in a lovely terrace were you can smell the lemons and basil they grow by themselves (you could hear to the terrace if children cry - balkony of that room was straight above terrace). And food was delicious again..... And breakfast was also good enough with croissants, bread, cheese, ham, jam, fruits, juice, coffee, cerials,..... Rooms were very cosy and clean. There were even an refrigerator. Bathrooms were very well equipped and clean (almost brand news). Some of the rooms have a great view to the sea. You can even shower and see the sea same time :-) There are about 10 rooms. Size of balconies vary - some rooms have only a french balcony and couple of rooms have so big balconies that there were one or two sunbeds! Upstair-rooms seemed to be little better than those which were in the lover level. But overall nice rooms. Hotel is surrounded by a lovely garden with lemon trees and herbs and flowers. There is also a small pool-area (it is a huge tub) with couple of sunbeds and tables and chairs. From Sorrento city there is about 2 to 3 km to the relais. Cause the end of the road is so steep and narrow, they have a parking space where you can leave your car and they come and pick you up and the other way round (you just call them). Or if you have a small car and you are a brave driver (as my husband with our Fiat500), you can drive straight there (as all the locals do) - there is also a parking space in a garden. They have also a parking space near the center of Sorrento, where you can leave your car while shopping/sightseeing/dining. We even left our car there when we were staying in Capri for couple of days after Sorrento. So I really can say we liked Villa Pane! I don't like hustle and bustle places with too many tourists - like Sorrento-city for me - so the situation of Villa Pane was ideal: near center but at the same time far away from it. But the best things were friendliness and food...and cleanless and peace......all- :-) Thanks Anna Marie and San Luigi (hope I remember your names correctly)!!!! ps. Guido was also lovely. Guido is their very humane and nice dog, who wanted us to play with him :-)
da Helsinki Finland il 03/ago/2011We just visited Anna Marie at her villa for cooking school. It was the best meal we ever had. And the stories she told and the warmth of her home made the experience something we will never forget.
